#NEXUIZ RETURNS PC#

Team mates can drag your injured ass to safety and hopefully get you patched up before you bleed out. THQ and Machinima today announced the immediate launch of Nexuiz PC for 9.99 on Steam and other digital download sites. Vastly different from Nexuiz combat though. Its slow, cooperative and hyper realistic in that individual body parts can get shot and disabled. Just saw this post and thought it was interesting to note that Illfonic are now doing the FPS combat for Star Citizen.

Developer IllFonic has self-published the game on Steam, where it costs. The game takes place in the year 2045 and the story. The change in question was to remove the 'kick' when jumping while the rest could be edited in cvars. All in all the game was never a project that received a lot of love from the developers and was quickly abandoned (within months) when sales figures most likely didn't live up to their expectations. This latest release of Nexuiz brings even better graphics capabilities along with a new HUD, network communication improvements that cut the bandwidth in half. Remember Nexuiz, the arena first-person shooter pulled from Steam three years ago after publisher THQ went bust It's back. Brink is a FPS (First Person Shooter), Single and Multiplayer video game developed by Splash Damage. The response was that it would be 'too hard' and wouldn't be worth it. Servers went down long before THQ went belly up, they just didnt care to maintain it as they had already jumped on the next project at the time.A handful of us were in contact with one of their community admins /play testers were we had forwarded a bunch of suggestions to make the movement somewhat more enjoyable. But at least it's back and functional, which is some return on our money I guess.
